Problem Note 46724: Double-byte character set (DBCS) characters in an RTF file might not be displayed in the correct font

DetailsCodeOutputHotfixAboutRate It

Double-byte character set (DBCS) characters in an RTF file might not be displayed in the correct font when the file is viewed with the Japanese version of Microsoft Word. This is most likely to occur when ODS RTF is used to generate the file, and the SAS encoding option is set to UTF-8.

The code on the Full Code tab creates an RTF file which shows the DBCS characters and the English characters in the RTF file are displayed correctly in the MS Gothic font when the file is viewed with an English version of Microsoft Word. However, when the RTF file is viewed with a Japanese version of Word, the DBCS characters are displayed in the MS Mincho font and the English characters are displayed in the MS Gothic font.
